Gentlmen for while been working on the 3204 engine , got it off the D3B to rebuild it. finally the machine shop got to it after dealing with corona . the found several issues. main one that concerns is the cam shaft center bearing has spun. now I am looking at options obviously is the bore out the cam bearing saddle and press fit a bushing. i know it has been done would like you all recommendation
That motor had a few cam bearing changes so take your serial # to the Cat store and they may have a fix for that problem. Good luck Bob
Thanks Bob it is gona need more than over size bearing. We started the process today at the machine shop. Going to bore and sleeve it to specs. Than it will accept standard cam bearing
