Hello everyone, I'm new to this. I have a 1998 D3C XL. The blade won't tilt. The handle that controls the blade movement feels like it is stuck. It just won't twist any more. The angle function works, but it is very slow. The blade lifts and lowers fine. Any ideas as to what the problem is? Many thanks.
Is there any Power Beyond/ backhoe or any other attachment on the hyd system? Later Bob
Sometimes the bearings in the handle will seize up, undo the linkage at the control and move spool in and out. You can see if the valve is free and try moving the handle while not hooked to control valve.
Check the linkage,the swivel ball linkage gets worn then they bindup and is hard too move the lever.Had this to happen on my D6R and the handle wouldn't move at all.Good luck
Along with checking the swivel ball joints, you might check if it has any bellcranks in the linkage. Not used often they will freeze up on the shaft. Just a thought.
