D4H help please

Hello we have A new to us D4H serial # 8PB000611 with 2200 hrs and our prob is when machine is turned on the fault light lights up and oil pressure sensor sounds. Turn the key back to off and goes away. Any ideas out there? We ordered new sensor from Peterson and machine earns er keep just fine w key clicked back to off position. Any help and ides greatly appreciated! Thanks, Justin N

    Justin, when you turn the key to the ON position the alarm sounds all light should come on for a few seconds then all lights should go out besides oil pressure and alternator lights. Then you crank the engine over and when it starts the alternator light and oil pressure lights go out. If this is not accuring exactly as described you may have a dash warning system panel failure or other failures i.e. senders and wiring....hope that helped............TIO

    It will likely be the fuel pressure sensor that is faulty. This system uses the loss of fuel pressure to sense that the engine is not running which in turn cancels out a false low oil pressure alarm before the engine starts. The fuel sensor is is by the fuel filter. Try disconnecting the wires or touching them together to see if it goes away.
