I'm a long time fan of Cat D3 dozers for fine grading. I'm looking at a nice D4H LGP. I'm looking for input on how it is for fine grading and spreading top soil. Any help is greatly appreciated.
When new they were new they were very good . Now it depends on what kind of shape the machine is in .
I have not seen the machine yet, but it's presentable in the pictures I've seen. Thanks for your help.
Had a D4H LGP years ago with a decent PAT blade, had one guy that could grade roads with it in 3rd gear, ditches too. I never could do that. Amazing.
