looking for help on diagnosing a transmission leak coming out between transmission and what im calling torque converter housing, any ideas its a 1985 with a power shift.
would be gasket and or oring will look at parts book and let you know been in there but been long time know there is gasket.
I appreciate it the dozer pulls fine just blowing fluid out between the two housings.
they are two seals o ring and gasket ,looking from torque end they are on left side at about ten oclock in gap next to trans outer cover is just gasket part no for seals are 8m5248 there are 2 of them gasket no 3s6886 outer cover gasket is part no9s8419 and torque converter can be pulled without pulling trans just take every thing off front of torque converter and fly wheel housing to make room. they are orings behind filter houseing to check and see where it is coming from real good
