I haven't been using my D5G XL in quite a while, started it up yesterday and I can't adjust the speed past 2nd. No 3rd or 4th. Anyone have any ideas of where to start looking. The transmission light warning light is on also, which never has come on before.
Is the warning light for the transmission accompanied by a buzzer as well..? Either way that light indicates that there is a Fault Code registered in the Hydrostatic Powertrain Electronic Control, and is most likely the reason why you can't shift past 2nd speed. You need to find out what that Code is and post back here. Also post the S/N prefix of your machine.
No buzzer what so ever. Dozer works fine, just doesn't go passed second gear when you hold down the selector button on the joystick. How do I get the code?
