Have a 90 D5H lgp and oil is leaking out of this cover it is cracked and that is the oil level wondering what the function parts book does not show it well.

Is this any help..? The section B-B is a section right through where I think your cover is located. The root cause could be something simple, or it could be from wear in the groove of the cannon putting extra strain on the retainer that caused it to crack.
I have that picture also so it is a guide for the cylinder so it has no pressure on it.
