put in new tc last year. never used machine to much know that dam thing is heating again! took trans in got tore apart say its in perfect condition . which is good news going to take oil pump in may as well get it checked wasn't to bad to get out . took tc relieve off and blew back on oil cooler oil came out clean and blew out easy so thinking cooler still clean. relieve valve has 2 springs in it is that normal? sure seems hard to push plunger in but maybe okay . any ideas maybe new tc is no good?
here is ser #
Relief valve 9w5596 has 1 large and one small spring
So still have a heating problem with dozer. Got transmision redone and tc was tore apart to check clearances all is good. Did get oil pump rebuilt as well. Put all together and the dam thing still heats ! ***. Can use for hour and half then trans temp light comes on . Works perfect till then. Got a ? About the breaks, is the pedal suppose to go almost to floor for it to break? Just wondering if breaks are on or something?
Put machine on a hill put in neutral with e brake off it should roll free down the hill.there is all so pressure test for the brakes.on my 6r the brakes engage at a 1/3 way down
Get some temp readings and a note book keep track as you run it. It's either building / making to much heat or not getting rid of it. Or it's not getting too hot. Usually if it's building to much heat as soon as load comes off temp will drop rapidly ( sign of worn torque ) if it don't cool fast enough ( oil cooler coolant flow or water flow) what do filters and oil look like? Silicone or rust can plug up either side of oil cooler.
