i got a d6r that the fuel gauge wonders around while running it. sometimes it will read 3/4's when its 7/8 full, 10 min later it will read 1/4 to empty with the low fuel light on. is there a float of some kind in the tank or how is the sender setup in these. thks
The sending unit is in the top of the fuel tank.It is quite long and they had a lot of troble with the early ones.Mine did the same thing as your ,so replaced with a new updated unit and has been good since. Unit has been very accurate also.Pretty expense,but nice too know when too refuel,before you run out.:usa
