    It mostly depends on the type of ground you are running on. You operator is also a big factor. How many miles in reverse? How much time in third gear? Does it have a PAT blade or a straight with push arms. It used to be we figured around 3,200 hours was normal. Now days with better materials in the chains, I've seen them run longer sometimes.

    we have 2 6 way blade machines and one strait blade and we get about 4000 on each. Have to change sprockets a bit sooner.

    We have 4000hr on lot of rollers leaking and quite a few dry joints
