Early low horse D7E 47A6xx. Sprocket is really loose and the oil is full of metal. Needs a complete rebuild. I'm told the sprocket hubs for early D7Es are obsolete and hard to come by. Is this true? If so, would it be possible to update all the gears/bearings/shafts to a late D7E or D7F final drive?
The 47a and d7 f use the same sproket shaft,top pinion,boulgear,sproket hub but not 48a
