Just wondering what is involved with getting stuck steering clutch released I'm looking at a machine that apparently has this problem but would like to know what is involved in getting it working before I get to far down this road. Thanks
It could be as simple a filling the housing with diesel and tying the release levers back and letting it soak. Or it might require taking the rear apart and complete disammebely of the steering clutches. I have a TD 14 that both steering clutches are so rusted together even with the drums removed from the tractor and taken apart the clutches are still frozen together.
