The Main Clutch is easy enough to fettle also so is the Transmission Brake, with the floor plates removed you are probably looking at a load of dirt and dust covering everything so thinking you need to remove the top plate off the clutch case to make things easy give things a wash or at least a blow off first, with this done you need to remove the top clutch cover plate and note this has a breather fixed to it plus a lever that gets involved with things that you want adjusting, under the plate you will see the clutch unit and by turning the flywheel you will find 2 lock plates 180 deg from each other, these need slackening off then you can screw the adjuster ring clockwise with the clutch in the open position, the hand lever will be very very hard to pull closed as you will have no booster pressure with the engine not running, so you might need 3 or 4 attempts to set this clutch to give you the correct pull back feel to the lever, this should be a positive lock / snap over so both the locks and the top plate need refitting before any engine running moments. tctractors.
