I am replacing the ignition switch on a Case 580C. The old switch had a modular plug and the new switch does not line up to the modular plug; therefore, I need to wire it directly to the screw terminals. Does anyone know the color codes of which wires goes to which terminals? The new switch terminals are labeled I, S and B. The color of the wires are Red, Black, White and Green
Not knowing anything about your machine, I= Ignition, S= Starter, B= Battery. So B connects to the live wire, Ignition wire/wires will power up everything except the crank function of the starter.
