hey all, ive got a d8k that developed a fairly bad oil leak last summer it appears to be on the right front where the front cover meets the injection pump. weve torn the motor apart and replaced the front cover gasket and just about everything else. it still leaks like a siv anyone run into this before? perhaps there is an oring behind the injection pump that im not seeing?
There is a seal/ferrule that goes between the engine block and the accessory drive housing in the vicinity your referring to. Could be your leak source. The seal is on the passage that supplies oil to the accessory drive front bearing.
