What would cause my crank sensor to be damaged on my John Deere 329e. is there something connected to the flywheel that came apart?
Didn’t we already do this? Or, did it happen again?
Had this happen before. End of crank sensor damaged. No damage to tone wheel. Nothing come out if sump. Nothing in filter. Never faulted again. Some things I just can’t explain.
On that machine, the tone wheel is on the flywheel (see below). Has this unit ever had a starter nose cone failure? Drive coupler failure? I suspect something in there flying around. Post a picture of the damaged sensor.
