does any one know where the block heater is located on a c15 cat accert engine. This is in a 2007/8 peterbilt im almost sure it is not working. Also any froze over starting advice would help. I never use starting fluid so it is outta the question thank you
Don't know about the heater but a gas soaked rag over the intake has a similar effect as ether but is not as hard on the engine.
The block heater should be on the right side of the engine, behind the oil cooler in a housing that goes between the cooler and the block. Might be tricky to see since that's a twin turbo engine. A torpedo heater, a well placed tarp and about 45 minutes will get it started without assistance, provided you have access to said supplies. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
