Hey guys this is my first 330lc to own and it has a 60" bucket and extra ballast on the back. When you swing it starts pretty slow then builds up speed and when you let off the swing brake or whatever makes kind of a grinding noise. Is this normal?
Is it a grinding noise like metal on metal or more of a deep vibration?

Good day bscottking21 A slew transmission vibration could be either a mechanical or hydraulic issue we suggest we try to take a single line first - any signs of metal pieces from the swing box or the final drive ? Is the vibration prevalent from both directions ? when did this issue first occur did it coincide with a application change or some other problem? Does it also do this when your booming down real fast? Sort of like when your bailing dirt out of a deep ditch. I have a EX330 and it does the same thing. Had a tech come out from Murphy tractor and he said that it was a regeneration valve. This valve sends oil to other cylinders instead of the tank when in high demand.
