2004 624h we using it the other night plowing ran like a champ all day without missing a note. During the final pass the machine died without any warning almost like someone had turned the key off. Changed fuel filters, primed and bled ect. it would fire for a half a second then die again. Today i discovered that the F5 fuse (engine controller switched) will immediately pop a fuse, the second the key is switched. Had to put in a new switch last season. Any ideas would be welcome
Welcome to HEF woodsrunner25 ! You sure it is the F5 and not the F6? I think that F5 fuse is not used?? If you unplug your fuel shutoff solenoid, does the fuse still blow at key on? A complete machine serial number would help.
Looks like at the moment the Fuel Cut off switch is bad. Was able to bypass and restart the machine. Ordered the new part we shall see how it all goes together.
