deere 85g, runs – raise lap bar – shuts off – ??

deere 85g (2014) runs fine but when you engage the safety lever after first start (hydraulics lock) the screen says "SYSTEM ENDING" and machine shuts off. will not start again for about 10 - 15 minutes. is this some kind of safety shutdown mode? what should i check?

    Have never heard of that issue before. A head scratcher ! Might want to look at the V20 diode for the safety lever. It is plugged into the harness that is plugged to the safety switch. The diode should be located under the left arm rest, maybe within a foot of the safety switch?? Check your messages.

    great thank you. this almost seems like a variant of the autoshutdown mode
