Dear All, I bought one roller Hamm 3412 HT, 2006, Deutz engine. The machine runs and shutdown every 10 minutes. Anyone has this issue before, please advise how to fix it. Many thanks TT

Exactly every 10 minutes? or 10 minutes one time, 15 the next, maybe 20 minutes if it's not working hard?

Sounds like its electronically shutting itself off? There is a Run solenoid that could cause this. The water temp, oil press, several things could do it also. Think i would find this solenoid 1st. Think its on left side (looking from front) top, rear. Check wires with multi-meter and see if losing voltage when it dies. If not the solenoid could be bad. If it does then you will have to start with electrical! Does it fire right back up and run another 10? If it does then you should be able to eliminate all the low pressure/suction fuel supply tests.

A LOT of those engines have a "belt tensioner sensor" that will shut the engine down to let you know the belt is worn out BEFORE it breaks. IF IT BREAKS it will take out the push rods and possibly break the rocker arms.. The sensor is under a removable cover on the front of the engine..

Any idea what model Deutz engine we're working on here?

The engine is working 10 minutes then shut down, start engine again and it runs for other 10m then shut down. The problem as like that

It does not fire right back,we have to start again and it run for other 10m then stop.

Does it have to set a certain amount of time before it will restart? Is it exactly 10 minutes each time? A model and s/n would go a long way to get the answers you want. If that is not possible how about a couple pictures of it so someone might be able to figure out what model it is and what type of controls it has? Without a little more info to go on coming up with a good idea is going to be hard. Just saying it's a Deutz for someone not familiar with what a "Hamm 3412 HT" is would be like asking about a Cat or Detroit engine there could be hundreds or even thousands of variations on them and coming up with a good answer would be impossible. Not trying to bust on you but the more info you supply the better the answer you will get.
