I have a Volvo 110 E with a 7.1 L Deutz and it runs and idles fine but wont pull under load. Changed all filters, checked for air leaks, restrictions in exhaust, turbo is fine, starts good. am looking for the fix. Have never owned a Deutz before, It ran good, then would pick the bucket up. Thanks for any suggestions!
Have you any way of checking fuel pressure. There's a couple variables to look at. First thing, check fuel pump pulley, Does it have damp dirt that smells like fuel.
Some Deutz engines have a strainer cup on the lift pump that can become obstructed with debris. If your machine has one of these, remove and clean it.
