I have a 140g grader. I think its from south africa. The diff lock is engaged all the time. I think it has an electrical switch to control it because there is no foot pedal to control it. There is a switch but the wires are cut. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or can tell me how to fix it? That would be greatly appreciated.
Trevie24 Many of the G Series that were sold into South Africa had NO differential unlock, they were locked all the time. If your machine was an American machine that was transposed into South Africa at a later date than it would have a dif unlock/lock feature. On the G Series the electric over air solenoid which controlled the unlock/lock function was mounted right on top of the differential doghouse, directly under the engine oil pan. The switch to control it was mounted in the right side of the steering console just ahead of the steering wheel. If you don’t see the solenoid mounted on top of the differential on your machine, it was most likely one of the original South African units sold with no dif unlock/lock feature. Best regards, Randy
We had a 140G here in Alberta without a diff unlock. It was an option for those graders
