I am wondering what the difference is between these two series of machines are. There is a 790 and 590 up for sale in my area I would prefer the 790 but am wondering if the older D series machines could be just as good for farm use if the price is right. I ran a 490D several years ago and it would have been great for farm use. My question is as far as operation what was improved on with the newer series. While were at it what is the diff between a 690 and a 200 deere. thanks
just as a general statement, newer machines will have more electronics, dont get me wrong, electronics are a good thing, but for "farm use" & DIY wrenching they can become a general PITA. :drinkup
