2014 cx250c crowd cylinder will free fall when going from a stretched out extend to a full in crowd. If I go slow it will not do it. It will free fall to a straight down position and rock a couple times then the pressures catch up and will start to pull up into the full crowd in position. I am new to the heavy equipment field so any insight would be appreciated. We have had the cylinder rebuilt and problem continued, we have also swapped cylinders with another machine and the problem stayed with the machine.
Hydraulic oil level? Sounds like air in the cylinder but there shouldn’t be. Does it have any load check valves?
Has this machine got a pattern changer or has someone been changing the pattern by swapping lines??
