I have a 2020 Doosan midsize excavator DX140LCR-5 got it a year ago and have not yet put it to work. It is showing codes that say it is going to derate, Def fluid faults etc.. Most of the hydraulic fluid has leaked out. I think the leak is near the bottom of the hydraulic cooler close the return pipe connection. It appears the engine coolant is a bit low and contaminated with oil , it is slightly milky. The engine oil looks good ,level and color. I had a service tec look at it he thinks the hydraulic cooler is leaking and says that caused the contamination in the engine coolant through some type of valve near the engine where hydralic oil and coolant pass through and mix with gases to cool them or something like that. Kinda lost me. My understanding is the hydraulic system and the coolant systems are both closed loop systems independant of each other. can anyone help me understand this? And what might be involved in getting this corrrected beyond a new Hydraulic cooler and fluid and coolant flush and refill. Can this be doine in the field or does it need to go to the shop 65 miles away?
