Warning, don't buy the 900 page Shop Manual for DX85r if you want basic info on maintenance, oil levels, oil types, what dip sticks check what, etc. It is not contained in the manual. In the battery compartment, there is a dip stick going into the base of the swing motor. I presume it tells gear oil level for the swing gear?? I need to add oil/fluid but cannot figure out how to add the oil. Do we add through the dip stick tube??
Welcome aboard! I believe you do fill it through the dipstick tube. At least that’s the way I’ve done it on other machines. Kind of a pain in the ass.
