Fiveontop posted this question in another thread. It's specific enough to deserve a thread of its own, so I've moved it here. And welcome to Heavy Equipment Forums, fiveontop!

Have you checked to see if the linkage is attached? It may have come undone. Flip the seat up and look and see if every thing is still working. A place to start!!

15E steering ? Hi 5ontop Red Power Magazine Forum is a great place for anything IH/Dresser/Dressta/Hough etc, theres a construction equipment board where this topic fits right in. I am an HD tech who does a lot of work on this line of machines. Dirtwhore is correct about the linkage, next question is , - Does the pivot brake function? - Did it do this gradually or suddenly? The clutch pressure guage would drop when it's in gear at low idle as you shift that lever to low range if there's a hydraulic problem. If you have a ripper or nothing on the back of the rear frame, pull the PTO cover off & look at the hoses, your RH low range hose may be leaking. These are generally a very reliable system, other than hose problems, usually from improper installation procedures & heat resistance on earlier units until an updated hose came out. Russell
