Have a dump with a DT466 and the turbo went bad so taking off the manifold to get the old turbo off its a 3 piece manifold the front came off the back two are not , has to cut off the bolts on some of them since they broke off , never has one where the manifold will not pull away from the block, don't want to put heat to it because the seals in the head and freeze plugs,, any ideas on getting the damn thing pulled away?
why did you try to pull the manifold to change the turbo? IIRC its a pain but you can get to the bolts. I would try heating the manifold around the bolts tapping with a hammer to break loose. or soak it with pb blaster. either way you'll probably need a new manifold. you didn't miss a manifold bolt underneath did you?
Make sure all the bolts are out and then use a BFH. And maybe a block of wood.
