I have two PC400-6 komatsu excavator, with a little difference in the monitor panel. One uses 10 segment on the LCD for temperaturei indicator gauge and the other one uses around 16 segment. At normal operation, on the first monitor temperature reaches three segment while on the second monitor it reaches 7 to 8 segments, is it a normal display? or an error in the monitor itself? because I tested the temperature with a infrared and the temperature was 83 degree C. The sensors and read out sets used in equipment are not real high on calibration for any manufacturer. If you tested with an infrared and found the temperature to be in spec on both, then just make note of what that particular reading means and go back to work.
