I have just purchased a CAT Excavator 219D with an oil leak from the swing box. Anybody with the parts manual/Disassembly/Assembly drawing? S/N: 5XG00791

    Thank you so much, Nige. From your experience what could be the cause of the leak? We noticed the leak when topping up the level in the swing box. I will like to have the complete parts manual (SEBP1884-02) for the equipment if you have it handy. Thanks once again.

    Where exactly is the oil leaking out of the box.?

    Could be just the deal on the bottom of the pinion shaft, could be something like a bearing has failed. I think the only way to find out is removal and disassembly.
