Please don't misunderstand me thegroupx3, not implying you did not get burned, not implying the vendor in question is, in fact, a fraud. But you are using this forum to express a personal grievance. Could you provide us with a link to possible fraud website/vendor? Provide us info where you tried to contact said fraud website/vendor to settle grievance?
A CASE IS BEING FILED WITH IC3.GOV my intent is to warn member of this fraud as heavy equipment is always on the move. I wired a shipping deposit & got burn simple as that dont want it to happen to anyone else.
They are a fraud. I can tell you that it is not grievance. Because of a flatbed broker we got stung by East Tex Shipping also....They are a fraud. Their day is coming, just sit back and watch.
Does anyone have experience with AVI EQUIPMENT SALES ? I am eyeballing a mini excavator but have concerns that they are maybe a fake shipper. Not finding any reviews for them online.
Welcome to the Forums Hans! Glad you came here first as that is more than likely a scam that unfortunately is all to common nowadays. A '12 D6T with 6K hours for $52,000 is laughable. There are several threads of various other scam sites here on HEF. Some members have been taken for 10's of thousands unfortunately before they came here. This is how the scam works - Would you buy a snow plow in Alabama? Million dollar scam bilking those seeking heavy equipment Carl Bates with the Better Business Bureau said the scam has probably netted between $2 million and $3 million in the last six weeks. www.al.com We have had issues here on HEF in the past with such sites so I am removing the website link. DO NOT wire them any money.
Do not wire anyone any money. Go lay your hands on the iron in person and provide a cashier's check once you are satisfied.
Thanks for your feedback. Sure smells like a scam. They went all out and produced a very nice homepage. Requested to see the machine, no response yet.
