How do I plug an exhaust manifold stud that was drilled out to far? It is on a detroit 8v71. The manifold bolt is the rear one on the drivers side. The bolt sticks in about a half inch further then all the rest of them.
Is it causing any other problems then the stud being shorter ? Is there enough stud left to get a nut on it? If not buy a longer stud ,maybe ?
Yes its causing the motor to smoke white. It is on the motor and tight not leaking exhaust gas just the coolant
