heres a few more pics they had the crusher up and running today. just couldnt get close enough for any pics. :Banghead the first one is of there brand new 980h second is a comparison shot of the 988g next to a manlift
that 980 is awesome, and the 88 is just plain huge.
yeah they let me sit in the 80 its awesome inside its kept so clean. the 88 was working almost the whole time but it makes the 80 look like a baby. amazingly enough there both pretty quiet for there size and being diesels. the foreman said the 80 is less than 5 months old this is its 3rd job.
just learned the crusher will be here for atleast another 3 months so hopefully on some weekend ill be able to get some more pics of it. they are using the articulated trucks and starting to pile up dirt for it.
got some pics of the crusher working.
6 hours I've seen semi truck drivers that take that long to get in the gate, let alone back it into position Nice pics oakland and some neat gear they have. You say its a large earthmoving project but what are they ultimately aiming to achieve. Road, Walmart, reservoir ? Why such a big crusher set up. Is there a lot of concrete they aim to recycle or is there a lot of rock they intend to utilise in the construction process? :drinkup
there crushing lava rock to use later in the process. they are building a new shopping center. this is the third year of the project .
Thanks that makes sense. :thumbsup
Thats a sweet lookin plant. I bet they can pump some material through it.
Welcome to Heavy Equipment Forums kologik! :drinkup
yeah its amazing how fast it can process material it keeps the 988 really busy. some more pics of earthmoving and a 988b that was brought in, the 988g's bucket assembly broke.
