Good morning , seeking some info on fiat allis 14b Steering/brake fluid top ups and filters anyone done work on em . also rear fluid levels , how many points to fill by and is there dispsticks etc working outside on it now , so any answers welcome Thanks
Welcome to Hef Benemen. We have a 14C which is essentially an updated B, so filters should be the same. Suction filter for the s/c compartment is under the floor plate on the left hand side. It is a metal gauze element that can be washed and replaced.... it’s down low but can be removed without losing oil. The other filter on the right is for transmission..dipstick should be obvious, check with warm oil, engine stopped, oil can be added via dipstick tube. There is also a return filter under a cast cover bolted to the top rear of the s/c compartment under the fuel tank. It is a replaceable paper cartridge filter. The cast cover has a small vent that is the only breather for the back end, so check that it is clear when reinstalling. Just behind that cover is a large brass plug.. should be a dipstick under there and this is where oil is added to s/c compartment. Final drives are just topped up to bungs. Where in Aus. are you?
