fiat allis fr15b wheel loader brakes

hey guys i have a 1987 fiat allis fr15b wheel loader the number on the plate that is rivited to the machine is -chassis-R15BZTZ*590453 -motor-8365 25583 the brakes do not work, the pedal is hard and does not move.if i push the pedal really hard i hear some air but nothing happens. i dont know much about these machines so any ideas can help me . thanks ps; if anyone has the brake and hydrolics service manual you want to sell let me know

    I have the same loader. Got all the manuals on Ebay. I can look in my books, if you want,to see if I can find anything out. Never had any brake problems,other than replacing pads.

    maybe if its not to much trouble .post a pic of the page in the book that shows the brake system, that may be helpful! thanks

    I assume you have air over hydraulic disc brakes . If the pedal is hard it could be that your threddle valve s stuck. thats the valve under the foot pedal . sometimes a shot or two of WD40 will unfreeze it. if you hear air bleeding off somewhere when you push on the brake pedal , you may have an air line broke between the threddle valve and the brake master cylinders/ Start the loader up , get the air pressure up and then shut off the loader . have a person check for the gushing air while you are pressing on the brake . DO NOT HAVE THE LOADER RUNNING AND LET SOMEONE GET IN BETWEEN THE ARTICULATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very easy way to get killed !!!!!!!!!
