Looking at a older big fiat dozer, steering has issues seller said, sprockets look worn, my question is where to tackle the problem on the steering and where now days can you get parts for it? asking 20 k obo , got the cummins in it any help would be appreciated , thanks

Well, just up the road from me is a hd41 fiat allis, real nice condition got the v8 cummins, I leaning toward it now.. it was used for surface mining only
like to get a ranch / farm dozer and leave it life long and park it by my entrance to turn a lot of heads!!

Might be the same one that one of the fella's said they used to change sprocket bearings every Saturday morning .
I'll bet after a couple of Saturday mornings they got pretty good at it also.
In 2007 our client had a problem with the undercarriage for this bulldozer. Changed everything from Komatsu D355. I do not remember what and how to change, we must look in the notes. Information for consideration.
It will be a V 12 Cummins not a V 8.
