what oil should be ran in cat D6D final drives? always ran 80/90 but was told to go to the trans/final sae 50w. was looking for others advise.
The old books that I've read all specified 50W engine oil for final drives.
What S/N do you have.? Wouldn't be hard to take a look in the O&M Manual.
