Hey guys, Had a question. What is the best way to flush out all the hydraulic oil in a 2007 Bobcat T190.

Unless you want to remove every hose, motor, pump, and valve, not much of a way you can effectively flush a Bobcat because they're not a typical loop system. About the best you can do is drain the tank and refill.

If one did have all of these parts off of the machine, what is the best/ proper way to flush out and clean? The hoses, motors, valves,.... I do not think heading over to the parts washer to flush out would be such a good idea? unless it was cleaned out first I guess? Any suggestions? Thanks

i typically flush through the aux couplers, approx 5 gal at a time. flush, refill, flush, refill, ect ect. usually 15 -20 gal and change the hyd filters :drinkup

Are you saying to remove the aux connections and run the machine to run the fluid out this way?

i have a 3/4" hyd hose approx 4 ft long with a male quick couplr on it. plug it into the female coupler on the machine, start eng, leave it running at idle, turn on aux, and pull the aux trigger. within 30 seconds you'll have a 5 gallon bucket full. shut down refill the tank run the drives both directions, cycle hyd functions and repeat much faster and easier than draining the tank expecially on a track machine :drinkup :drinkup

T190 - Hydraulic fluid temperature sensor location? This machine just spiked from operating temp of about 150 to 230 in like 5 seconds. Engine or cooling system started making a funny noise, do you think this was a reaction to the "system" thinking it was overheating, immediatly got out and checked temperature of inlet and outlet hoses on hydraulic cooler readings were 120 to 110

temp sender should be on the filter housing. depending on SN, there may be as many as 3 senders on the filter housing single wire filter bypass 2 wire sender temp sender 3 wire sender charge pressure k series machines ( hyd fan) charge sender is in the fan motor, or "T"'d into a charge hose near the control valve :drinkup

Whats the reason for the flush? Is the fluid contaminated from a bad motor? Is it chemically broken down in the last UOA you did? If its just for the "feel good" feeling I wouldn't get too picky. Drain the tank, put new filters on and call it good. CAT runs their machines through a kidney loop system at the dealer and on the assembly line. Not sure where they exactly hook up to it or if it would work on your machine, but something along those lines could possibly be done. The only good way to clean out a hydraulic hose is with a foam gun.
