My 955L Cat is foaming coolant out of the radiator. The Temperature gauge is normal. No water in the oil and no white smoke from the stack. The radiator cap doesn’t fit air tight and the pressure cap is 5psi. I didn’t know what poundage to get. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Why not get the proper cap from the Cat dealer?
I was trying to be cheap.
Any idea what the pressure cap poundage would be? Before I go to a dealer?
If you have the serial number Cat will give the correct cap. You could always phone and ask them.
