Ford 655D lacks power when driving up hill to the point of slowing down then stopping.Goes up same hill easily in reverse.Fluid levels are good Filters have been replaced Thanks for any advice

    The engine slows down, or the engine maintains the same RPM, but the tractor slows down?

    Many ford owners have found that the pickup screen for the shuttle trans gets clogged with debris such that the trans starves for oil and slips. My first plan of action, if you suspect the trans, would be to use the manual to conduct pressure tests of the shuttle trans.
