My front seal, where the front drive shaft goes into, is leaking on my 580 sk 4x4. From what i see it seems like I have to just pull the shaft, then yank the seal and replace it like any other seal. Does that seem right? I havent got down and taken a really close look at it yet, does the front diff have its own fluid?
I'd check that the breather is open before changing the seal.
