We have a Volvo 110F S/N VCEL110FK00061788. If it sets for 24 hours or more it will not start unless you prime the fuel system. We have changed the check valve/fuel filter base and add a check valve furnished by the dealer and still acts the same way. I wonder if the main fuel pump is the issue? IF it is cranked without priming it will throw a low pressure on the fuel rail code. Thanks for any help, Rick
Does the fuelliftpump turn on before starting? Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
You can plug in that engine and it will tell you the fuel pressure at the fuel rail.. IF a computer and program isn't avail.. you can put a guage on it.. OR,, just disconnect the hose and turn the key and wait to get wet.. There is also an over flow valve on the end of the fuel rail.. looks like a banjo bolt. IT holds fuel pressure in the rail w/ a ball and spring.. IF IT BROKEN, the fuel enters the rail and goes straight back to the tank..
check the non return valve in the fuel pump Mark

there has been reported issues with the surfaces of the fuel in and out ports on the fuel pump having air leaks due to paint on the mating surfaces, take the pipes off and plug the holes, then clean the surfaces of the fuel pump.
