Ok question with the new engine both in truck and in equipment. Unltra low sulfa fuel for use in both? no if you are just running off road that is higher sulfer like no. 2 fuel can you use that in the newer engines?
ULSD in everything off road and on road it was effective I think October 1, 2007.
If you're asking can you use other than 15PPM ULSD in an engine with a particulate filter{2007+},the answer is no.
That is pretty much it. not that I do run anything other than road fuel(clear) but if equipment is off road and you had only no 2 and it was not going on road could you use it. Back in the old days no 2 in everything cat even had it in the brouchures lol.
