I have a 2006 gehl 5640E turbo 2-speed that creeps forward when in neutral. Also, the boom creeps down slowly with no load, and faster with a load. I was told that there may be some electrical problem causing this, but am skeptical. Also, there seems to be a self leveling mechanism that only partially works. So I guess it is possible that there are some electrical ghosts. I live in remote alaska and the option of taking it to a service location is not really an option. so, my question is, could it be some sort or electrical problem, or is this a problem of worn out hydraulics. it is not an insurmountable problem, but it would be nice if the boom didnt lower to the ground on its own when I am trying to move things around. Thanks for any advice.
