I have a 2010 gth5519 that has a slight side to side movement when raising or lowering the boom. i disconnected the rod end of the leveling cylinder to find that the unwanted movement goes away.
i hit enter by mistake and cant find the edit button :/ with the cylinder out, the movement is gone. i replaced the counterbalance valve to yield no real results for the boom will still move, albiet not much should i atempt to adjust the flow on the valve? or am i missing something in between these steps? any help would be really appriciated.
there is a high cracking pressure involved with this circuit. Some boom movement is expected but will the engine die while raising or lowering the main boom when the engine is at idle? The leveling cylinder you speak of is the one at the pivot end of the boom behind the operator or at the carriage end of the boom?
