The man bucket will not tilt. I took the lines off the cylinder and put a presser gauge in one fixed the other so it could run in a bucket. If you flip the switch one way gauge doesn't read anything. Flip switch other way oil streams out of other line. I put the gauge in other line no presser flip switch the other way and oil streams out open line. I dont remember how long they have had this thing but its been a pain. Everything else works other than the bucket swivel leaks bad i am going to try to rebuild it.
Honestly, it's quick and easy to just replace the basket rotator. Boom out, set basket on Jack stands, disconnect the basket hardware, boom in and swap (or in your case rebuild) the rotator. Got them down to maybe a 30 minute job, IIRC.
The place were i have been getting parts says the rotator parts are no longer available ??
That's news to me, they're pretty universal for a wide range of lifts (IIRC). How old is this machine? Might want to reach out to Genie with a PN and see if they're available. All the manuals are on their website listed by serial number.
