Hello, for a Genie s85 manlift, with a Duetz td2.9 l4 engine, where is the coolant temperature sensor located? I know there is a level sensor at the bottom of the expansion tank, but where is the temperature sensor? Not seeing it in parts diagram.
Should be screwed into the top of the thermostat housing, IIRC.
The temp sensor isn’t in the tank, it’s on the engine itself. On the TD2.9 it’s normally threaded into the cylinder head near the thermostat housing. Look for a 2-wire connector going into it.
