I have a 2005 genie z-45/25 that it will start and run from the ground control but once you switch it over to the basket it dies. Leave it on the basket and try to start it from the basket and it just turns over and wont start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ok... first off have you read the manual and gone through the testing and troubleshooting sections??? Did this just happen and used to work differently? Do you have both RED e-stop buttons out (both basket and ground)? Make sure you are not stepping on the foot enable pedal while trying to start If none of this helps then do the auxiliary controls in the basket work?
Never worked on one of these. It sounds like you are losing power when switch to basket .I would check switch and wireing harness to basket for bad connections or broken wires
