I take pride in my job and love what i do and probably wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. i thought it was really cool when a friend sent me an article about Arlington National cemetery where they show how JD backhoes are used on the grounds along with Deere mowers. i dont know about you but i have the utmost respect for our military and the fallen soldiers from the past and even today. ive had family affected by a loss and i know first hand how hard it can be. anyway, this article is pretty neat. shows the history of arlington and the best part...they use Deere equipment for everything! http://blog.machinefinder.com/4331/john-deere-arlington-national-cemetery
Excellent story
I dont know about today but several years back when employeed by the Deere dealer a company rep told me that Deere donates the equipment used at Arlington. In addition to the tax benefits it was a great PR stunt.
